Feed air, at right speed and pressure, reaches the first adsorber, here, inside the bed of carbon molecular sieves, nitrogen is separated from the other air gases (oxygen, CO, CO2, etc.) by selective surface adsorption. Subsequently, the produced nitrogen passes from the adsorber to the external nitrogen tank.
